Texas UCC Search
About Texas UCC Search
Quick answer. A Texas UCC search runs in SOSPortal. Create an SOSPortal account, not an SOSDirect account. Each web search is $1, paid before results, including a search that finds nothing. You can search by filing number, debtor, or secured party.
What this site is for
The Secretary of State’s UCC section says paper filings stopped and the UCC portal is inside SOSPortal. The how-to guide walks through Search & Order Records, the Uniform Commercial Code tile, and a $15 certificate if you order one. UCC email is UCC_Assist@sos.texas.gov.
SOSDirect still exists for other business services and is a separate password. Signing in there does not open the new UCC search. A Texas UCC statement request is the search you just paid for, not a different free form.
What we will not pretend to be
Texas UCC Search is not the Secretary of State and cannot waive the search fee.
Mail and the form reach hello@texasuccsearch.com. Ordering a certificate, filing an annual report, or changing an agent happens on the official portal, not here.
